My Favorite Book

Sunday, October 30th, 2005

Despite being a grossly unfair question (one favorite book? impossible choice), I will do my best.
Obviously, The Lord of the Rings is held in high esteem. Another book is Hunter’s League: A Conspiracy Revealed by Mel Odom. It takes place in nineteenth century England. I would recommend it to suspense/action fans, but would rate it at PG-13, as there are murders, fights, and monsters. Another excellent read is Kidnapped!

YAY! MY BLOG IS BACK UP!

Sunday, October 30th, 2005

Okay, because of this huge lapse in time, you all probably have no idea what I’ve been doing for the last…long time (4 months?). Well. I ran Cross Country for Pike, and I thought I could have done better, but my parents think I did excellent (Irony=the one time I get angry at myself for not working hard enough, my parents think that I did pretty good). And I am now a Freshmen, in the Giant Mutant Middle School (GMMS) known as the Freshmen Center. I really need to update my top ten movie’s list. And I really like this series of “Klaymations” by a guy (or group) called Knox Flash. He (they?) made the “Glass of Water” mentioned earlier, but my favorite is the Bar Fight. You can find them by going to Flashplayer.com and searching for Knox.

I haven’t blogged in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG while. I would have blogged a month ago, but I forgot my password. So I am now fourteen & a half, am in gym summer school (those two words should not be allowed in any sentence together except for “School is out, summer has begun” or something), and, of course, am still running. I ran the Mini-Marathon in May. That’s thirteen miles (actually 13.1) in two hours, two minutes, and fifty one seconds. I beat my mom by two minutes. And dad…ran some too.

Hello Everyone

Thursday, January 20th, 2005

I hope everybody remembers who i am. Since I last blogged lots of things have changed since then. Actually, I can’t remember half the stuff that changed. I got cool stuff for Christmas like an Azorean Flag and Portuguese flag. Those are cool. I got a $100 gift certificate for Amazon.com, which i spent on a CD and a DVD player. Well maybe thats all i have to say for now.

Stuff

First, Aunt Wendie did not have an egg burger while she was here. She almost did, but then decided not to. Last night my dad and I went to see a movie called Hero. It was a great movie and is one of my top 5 favorite movies list. It was set in ancient China before the Great Wall was built. Three assassins were going to murder the emperor. One of them approached the emperor and at the last minute refused to do something. I won’t give away the ending. In case you were wondering, my revised movies list:
5. The Hiding Place
4. LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring
3. Hero
2. LOTR: The Two Towers
1. LOTR: The Return of the King
Well there you have it.

Yes, I now have blogged for the first time in a while. It’s great having Aunt Wendie here, we play lots of board games and just hang out. My birthday was a week a two days ago and that was another good thing to happen. School is going well and we get our report cards this week. So that ends the first quarter. We have off on Thursday and Friday. Perfect! So, that’s all i have to say.

Two Weeks In And Feeling Fine

Monday, September 6th, 2004

I feel like a bajillion bucks right now (and yes, I know that’s not a number). And that is because I have joined cross country. I first went to the practice because a few of my friends at school said that they had a lot of fun last year. I decided to see what it was all about. The first practice, I ran two miles in 27:48 and was completely winded. The second time, I did 28:06. I felt like I was gonna die, or quit. But then I read my mom’s entry about my running. And the next time we did a time trial, I ran a 22:34! It was awesome! That was my first experience of runner’s high: I felt like I could run forever even though my legs were falling off and my feet were on fire (at least it felt that way).

I still have 2 weeks left!

Tuesday, August 24th, 2004

Summer has just 2 weeks to go. School starts 2 weeks from today, the 7th. That’s the day I’ve been dreading the day summer started. But it’s not so dreadful now. I, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, almost can’t wait for it to start. I want to play soccer this year, so I’m excited about that in the spring. I’ll also get to see all my friends again. These 2 weeks will be the best ever!
