Fu Kung

Wednesday, June 30th, 2004

Fu Kung, my new art of doing absolutely nothing for a long period of time. You must have “Unagi” (quoted from “Friends,”) It is the complete awareness of somebody sneaking up on you, especially while doing Fu Kung, and launching an attack on you. You must use Unagi while doing Fu Kung. Quite a process. don’t forget about Shui Feng, the art of arranging your desktop. The other side of Feng Shui, arranging furniture in your home… so on. You must arrange your PC desktop by Color (meaning, the main color of the icon, not the scattered multiple ones found on it) Red/Orange top, black/white bottom, yellow/green 2nd top, and others 2nd bottom.

Corn Beef

Monday, June 21st, 2004

That’s right, corn beef. Smells weird and I don’t like it. why is it called ‘corn beef’ anyway? It’s beef, but there’s no corn in it, and yet people call it corn beef! I like corn, i like some kinds of beef, but corn beef is not the food for moi.

When you jump off a bridge you ask yourself, did I suspend my bungee cord? You just realize that you didn’t because you’re wet, you don’t know why, until you see water surrounding you at all sides! Danger, Danger!!

My new interest

Monday, June 21st, 2004

Yeah, I started getting into World War 2 history a few weeks ago when I got this video game, Battlefield 1942, which simulates WWII warfare. I have learned more in-depth about this. Other than the famous, Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima, Omaha Beach…u know. I always looked at WWII and thought, not much of it. How does a video game get me interested in something I didn’t have much interest in before? Maybe I’ll never know that.

{cough} I WAS sick

Friday, June 18th, 2004

Yes, sad, 2 1/2 days of my summer wasted on the couch, watching Spongebob and Friends. I was seriously sick. Had a headache, extremely soar throat, coughing madness, and stuffyness that could not be blown out. Today, I only experience the stuffyness. There goes a great first week of my summer, why, it couldn’t have happened last week? You know, monday (school) through wednesday! (last days of school) I am feeling better this means I get to, be better. This is the first time I blogged in a while. Hopefully I don’t get summer fever again!

Food for thought

Tuesday, June 15th, 2004

According to the chaos theory, one infentese….extremely small thing can magnify over time to somethhing catastrophic. An example is a weather forecasting computer. You give all the weather forecasting info we have, but you leave out the possibility of a butterfly beating its wings. Over the course of a week, your predictions would be gibberish, if the theory is correct. I thought to myself, “Would a lack of a GBA SP cause a child to, over time, become a criminal, or worse, a politician?”

Glass of Water

Saturday, June 5th, 2004

I saw this online short movie called “Glass of Water.” It was made with clay men.
So this clay guy (i call him Carl) sees a glass of water (clay of water) and says to (calling the other guy bob) “Hey you gonna drink all of that?” Bob doesn’t answer. (this is a small “clay” of water) Carl knocks the glass over. A small amount of water about 2 cm by 2 cm. Bob says, “Oh no, you spilled it, Get away from it, oh no I can’t get away, Oh wait a minute, I can’t swim.” He drowns in that small puddle. A police clay arrives (i call him Ty) Ty says “Hey did you just drown that guy?” Carl: No, just spilled a glass of water.
Ty: don’t lie to me boy, i’m a cop, see i got this badge!
Carl: I bet you stole that from a 3 year old! Haha, yes you did
Ty: (continuing) No I didn’t, no I didn’t, nuh uh! Oh no I can’t swim either, blub, blub, blub.
(a rescue man enters, named Gab)
Gab: Hey we’re here to rescue you, just stay where you are!
(Gab and Carl are about 1 foot away from each other)
(Gab throws a rope to Carl)
Gab: Grab the rope.
Gab: GRAB THE ROPE!
Gab: GRAB IT!
(Carl grabs it and gets pulled a foot)
Gab: Hey guys, I got him!
Carl: Who ya talking to?
Gab: Oh no they died too! It’s the end of Clay world, thousands of claymen are dying because of you!

Reasons why this island is so not grand

Saturday, June 5th, 2004

Yes, sadly we don’t have alot on this island. McDonalds, Pizza Hut, WalMart, those big chain stores. All we do have is a small store called a Base Exchange or “BX.” Plus, we have Burger King, and Subway. A burger, salad, pizza place. It’s okay. Of course, we can benefit from those Portuguese restaraunts. Oh, we use Euros, for those, usually not american dollars. We don’t have snow days. We might have a wind day, because winds can get up to 70 mph.
Why this place is cool…
We are small, not many people know this place exists
Wake up seeing the Ocean everyday
Not very cold here, never below 40 or above 80 degrees
This is an island
