My Life as a Teenage…Teenager

One of the Oddest, yet not surprising things about this island is… (drumroll please)
cows. Cows are all over the place here. Most of the island is farmland, so there is alot of cows. Sometimes, they are walking on the roads in large herds and we have to stop and wait for them. The Portuguese are very protective of the cows, there is a law that says if you kill a cow, you the family all the money they could’ve made off the milk of it, it’s offspring, plus the cost of the cow and whatever else, I forget. My dad told me that. Anyways, it’s pretty odd.

I am in a small group, not a gang, of a few friends. One, is David. He is a cool kid. He always makes jokes and makes me laugh alot. haha. Another is Braymon. Braymon is sort of an unknown person. I mean, he has alot to hide, in a good way. He is what makes me laugh just by what he does. haha. Yes, Matt is quite the friend. The one who always messes around with you at lunch and can be quite a pest sometimes. Another friend is Eddie (otherwise known as Eduardo) He is the short person of the bunch. He makes up for that in his great consideration for other people, he’s cool. And then there is Daniel. He is the 2nd joker of the bunch and loves soccer like Eddie and I. Now, there is another Daniel who is in 6th grade, not in my school, he is THE coolest friend I know. He has alot of same interests, minus the sports. We both love video games, playing outside, and just being couch potatoes. Well, that’s some of the… 40 friends that I have made on this little island.

My school is almost over. Three more days of prison, then FREEDOM!! That’s 21 hours, or 1,260 minutes, or 75,600 seconds! I did this with a calculator, so I am not a math genius. Then again, if I didn’t tell you that, you would think I’m smart, and you would pay me money! I meditate on that. HOOOOOM HOOOOOM (pronounced like HOM)

Over here in the Azores, school is 3 weeks away from getting out! The last day is June 10, we get out at 10:50 am! I have alot of plans for that 2 1/2 months of fun, fun, fun. I am so excited, almost all I think about is summer, summer, summer!
This weekend my family and some friends will be going to some caves. I can’t wait for that, it’ll be fun! My kinda fun.

Me, I am in middle school, I live across the ocean in Portugal. It’s a rough life. I like to read, draw, play sports, that kind of stuff. I like weekends, no doubt I like summer. What kind of stuff will come pouring out of my mind? A 13 year old mind? As an old englishman would say:
I don’t know. (of course in a very strange way, with the english accent)

Why do birds suddenly appear when you are near?
Why? Why do people say why?
Why? Why do I keep saying that?
Why? Why do you think you don’t know the answer to that?
Why? Because you don’t. I do. You don’t and don’t take this seriously!
